فَرْفَخٌ
فَرْفَخٌ (Ṣ, A, L, Ḳ) andفَرْفَخَةٌ↓, (L,) [the former app. a coll. gen. n., and the latter the n. un., Purslane, or garden purslane;] the herb called البَقْلَةُ الحَمْقَآءُ, (Ṣ, A, L,) which does not grow in Nejd, (L,) also called فَرْفِينٌ, (Ṣ, A,) i. q. رِجْلَةٌ: (Ṣ, L, Ḳ:) an arabicized word, from the Pers. پَرْپَهْن, which signifies “broad-winged.” (AḤn, L, Ḳ.)
