قَثَدَ, aor. ـِ {يَقْثِدُ}, (TḲ,) inf. n. قَثْدٌ, (Ḳ,) He ate the [plant, or vegetable, called] قَثَدٌ. (Ḳ.)

اقتثد He cut (L, Ḳ) as one cuts the قثد. (L.)
