مَسَآءٌ
مَسَآءٌ Afternoon, counted from noon to sunset: (Az, IḲooṭ, Mgh, Mṣb, TA:) or, accord. to some, to midnight: (TA:) contr. of صَبَاح: (Ṣ, Ḳ, Mṣb, &c.:) and evening, after sunset. (Mgh.)
أَتَيْتُهُ ذَا مَسَآءٍ [I came to him in the evening]. (IAạr, TA, art. صبح.) See صَبَاحٌ.
أَتَيْتُةُ صَبَاحًا مَسَآءً: see صَبَاحٌ.
أَمْسِيَّةٌ
أَمْسِيَّةٌ: see أُصْبُوحَة.
مَمْسًى
مَمْسًى a name for the مَسَآء; and the time thereof; and the place thereof; like as مَصْبَحٌ is a name for the صَبَاح; and the time thereof; and the place thereof. (Marg. note in a copy of the Ṣ, in art. صبح.)
مُسْتَمْسَكٌ
