1. ⇒ نجح
نَجَحَتِ الحَاجَةُ, (Ṣ, Mṣb, Ḳ,) aor. ـَ
نَجَحَ, aor. ـَ
[You say,] مَا أَفْلَحَ فُلَانٌ وَلَا أَنْجَحَ↓ Such a one did not prosper, or succeed, nor attain, or accomplish, his want, or wants. (Ṣ.)
نَجَحَ أَمْرُهُ His affair became easy. (Ṣ, Ḳ.)
4. ⇒ انجح
أَنْجَحْتُ حَاجَتَهُ, (Ṣ,) and أَنْجَحْتُهَا لَهُ, (TA,) I accomplished for him his want. (Ṣ, TA.) أَنْجَحَ ٱللّٰهُ حَاجَتَهُ God accomplished for him his want: (Ḳ:) or, helped him to attain, or accomplish, it. (TA.)
[So, أَنْجَحَ ٱللّٰهُ سَعْيَهُ God made, or may God make, his work to succeed, prosper, or have a good issue or result.]
أنجح بِهِ He, or it, overcame him. (Ḳ.) Ex. إِذَا رُمْتَ البَاطِلَ أَنْجَحَ بِكَ ‡ If thou seek what is vain, it will overcome thee. (A.)
5. ⇒ تنجّح
تنجّح الحَاجَةَ, andاستنجحها↓, He sought, asked, or demanded, the accomplishment of the want, or thing needed, from him who had promised him; syn. تَنَجَّزَهَا. (Ṣ, Ḳ.)
استنجح↓ ٱللّٰهَ [He sought, or begged, of God, success, or the accomplishment of his want]. (A.) See an ex. voce عَمَلٌ.
6. ⇒ تناجح
تَنَاجَحَتْ أَحْلَامُهُ, (Ṣ, A, Ḳ,) تناجحت عَلَيْهِ احلامه (ISd) ‡ His dreams followed one another with truth: (Ṣ, Ḳ:) or the truth of his dreams was continuous: (ISd:) or he had consecutive true dreams. (A, L.)
10. ⇒ استنجح
نُجْحٌ
نُجْحٌ andنَجَاحٌ↓, (Ṣ, Mṣb, Ḳ,) two substs., the former from نَجَحَ and the latter from أَنْجَحَ, (Mṣb,) Success; or the attainment, or accomplishment, of one's wants, (Ṣ, Mṣb,) or, of a thing. (Ḳ.) [See an ex. voce سَرَاحٌ.]
نَجَاحٌ
نَجَاحٌ: see نُجْحٌ.
نَجِيحٌ
رَأْىٌ نَجِيحٌ Right counsel, advice, or opinion. (Ṣ, Ḳ.)
سَيْرٌ نَجِيحٌ, (Ṣ, Ḳ,) andنَاجِحٌ↓, (Ḳ,) ‡ A vehement pace: (Ḳ:) a quick pace. (Ṣ.)
مَكَانٌ نَجِيحٌ, andنَاجِحٌ↓, † A near place; syn. وَشِيكٌ. (L.)
نَهْضٌ نَجِيحٌ ‡ An energetic rising, or raising of one's self. (L.) [You say,] نَهَضَ فِى هٰذَا الأَمْر نَهْضًا نَجِيحًا ‡ He rose quickly to employ himself in this affair. (A.)
نَجَاحَةٌ
نَجَاحَةٌ Patience. (Ḳ.)
نَجِيحَةٌ
نَفْسٌ نَجِيحَةٌ A patient mind. (Ḳ.)
مَا نَفْسِى عَنْهُ بِنَجِيحَةٍ My mind does not patiently refrain from it. (L.)
نَاجِحٌ
أَمْرٌ نَاجِحٌ An easy affair. (Ṣ, Ḳ.)
مُنْجِحٌ
مُنْجِحٌ A man who attains, or accomplishes, his want, or wants; pl. مَنَاجِحُ and مَنَاجِيحُ: (Ṣ, Ḳ:) as alsoنَجِيحٌ↓. (L, Ḳ.)
مَنَاجِحُ
مَنَاجِحُ [a pl. of which the sing. is app. مَنْجَحَةٌ, meaning, acc. to analogy, A cause of success, or of the attainment, or accomplishment, of one's wants, or of a thing: see an ex. voce مَبَاجِحُ.] (A, TA, art. بجح.)
