هَبَشَ, aor. ـِ
هَبَشْتُهُ, (Ḳ,) inf. n. as above, (TA,) I obtained it, (Ḳ, TA,) by collecting and gaining or earning. (TA.) Andاهتبش↓ مِنْهُ عَطَآءً He obtained from him a gift. (Ḳ.)
هَبَشَ الغَنَمَ, inf. n. as above, [app. meaning He roused and scared the sheep or goats, and drove and collected them to some person or place,] is like نَجَشَ الصَّيْدَ. (Ibn-ʼAbbád.)
