هَثْهَثَ, inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, He mixed, or confounded; like مَثْمَثَ. (TA.) هثهث أَمْرَهُ He confounded his affair. (TA.)
هَثْهَثَ, inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, It was mixed, or confounded. (Ṣ, Ḳ.)
هَثْهَثَ, (inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, Ḳ,) He (a magistrate, Ṣ) acted unjustly, injuriously, or tyrannically. (Ṣ, Ḳ.)
هثهث النَّاسَ He (a magistrate) acted unjustly, injuriously, or tyrannically, towards the people. (TA.)
هَثْهَثَ, inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, It sent forth quickly: (Ḳ:) [ex.] هَثْهَثَتِ السَّحَابَةُ بِقُطْرِهَا وَثَلْجِهَا The cloud sent forth quickly its rain and its snow. (Ṣ.)

It (a pasturing herd or flock) trod the fresh green pasture until it was destroyed, حتى يوتى [So in the L, app. حَتَّى يُؤُتِىَ].
