وَزٌّ
وَزٌّ a dial. var. of إِوَزٌّ, (Ṣ, Ḳ,) A kind of water-fowl; (Ṣ;) [the goose, or geese; and the duck, or ducks; but generally the former of these birds;] as alsoوَزِّينٌ↓: (Ḳ:) n. un. of the former, وَزَّةٌ; (Mṣb, art. وز;) and of the latter, وَزِّينَةٌ. (Ṣgh, TA.) See كُرْكىّ.
