وكف وكل وكن
1. ⇒ وكل
وَكَلَهُ إِلَى رَأْيِهِ, inf. n. وَكْلٌ and وُكُولٌ, He left him to his opinion, or judgment. (TA.) And وَكَلْتُهُ إِلَى نَفْسِهِ, aor. يَكِلُ, inf. n. وُكُولٌ, [I left him to himself;] I did not manage his affair, nor aid him. (Mṣb.) And كِلْنِى إِلَى كَذَا Leave thou me to manage such a thing. (TA.)
وَكَلْتُهُ إِلَى دِينِهِ [I left him to his religion, not interfering with him therein]. (Ṣ, Mṣb, Ḳ, voce دَيَّنْتُهُ.)
2. ⇒ وكّل
وَكَّلَهُ بِشَىْءٍ He appointed him, or intrusted him, as his commissioned agent, factor, or deputy, with the management, or disposal, of a thing.
وَكَّلْتُ بِفُلَانٍ I associated a وَكِيل [or factor,, &c.] with such a one. (T in art. بِ.)
5. ⇒ توكّل
تَوَكَّلَ عَلَيْهِ, andاِتَّكَلَ↓ عليه, He relied upon him; (Ṣ, Mṣb;) and confided in him: (Mṣb:) he submitted himself to him. (Ḳ.)
تَوَكَّلَ بِالأَمْرِ He became responsible to him for the management of the affair. (TA.)
تَوَكَّلَ لَهُ بِهِ He became responsible to him for it. (TA.)
تَوَكَّلَ فِى أَمْرٍ He became وَكِيل in an affair.
توكّل بِمَالِ أَحَدٍ He became administrator of one's property.

تَوَاكَلَهُ He deserted him, or it: i. q. تركته: see two exs. voce سَدِرٌ.

مُتَّكَلٌ is used as an inf. n. of اِتَّكَلَ.
وَكَلٌ
وَكَلٌ andوُكَلَةٌ↓ andتُكَلَةٌ↓ An impotent man, (Ṣ, Ḳ,) who commits his affair to another. (Ṣ.)

وَكِيلٌ
وَكِيلٌ A witness; syn. شَهِيدٌ. (Jel, ii. 66; and iv. 169.)
A commissioned agent; a factor; a deputy.
وَكَالَةٌ
وَكَالَةٌ, for دَارُ الوَكَالَةِ, A factory: pl. وَكَائِلُ.
