هَرِقْ عَلَى خَمْرِكَ [Pour water upon thy wine; i. e.,] quiet thine anger. (T.) See also Freytag's Arab. Prov., ii. 875; also the same, ii. 877.

هَرِقْ عَنَّا مِنْ رُوبَةِ اللَّيْلِ: see رُوبَةٌ.

أَهْرِقْ عَنْكَ مِنَ الظَّهِيرَةِ i. q. أَبْرِدْ, q. v. (IAạr, in TA, art. فيح.) See 4 in art. روق.

هَرَاقَهُ and أَهْراَقَهُ andهَرَقَهُ↓, aor. ـَ {يَهْرَقُ}, inf. n. هَرْقٌ, He poured it out, or forth: see 4 in art. روق.

هَرِيقُوا عَنْكُمْ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ, (in the Ḳ, erroneously, عَلَيْكُمْ,) Alight ye in the first of the night: (TA:) or disburden yourselves (أَنْزِلُوا عنكم): or relieve, or rest, yourselves; which seems to be generally meant by هريقوا عنكم.

هِرَاقَةٌ and إِهْرَافَةٌ The seminal fluid of a man: see إِرَاقَةٌ, in art. روق.
